THSO Launches new tasting and music fundraiser, Sip & Savor, on October 9 at Hulman Center

Taste the best of the Wabash Valley on Sunday, October 9, 12pm-5pm in the Glass Pavilion Entryway of Hulman Center during the Terre Haute Symphony’s new fundraising event, Sip & Savor! Enjoy samples from local breweries and restaurants while listening to live music from JazzHaute and the Men of Note Band. The event will also feature a silent auction with over 40 specialty items from the Wabash Valley including a chance to do the weather with Kevin Orpurt on WTHI, a gorgeous painting by artist Patricia Rhoden Bartels, gifts from Top Guns, Culver’s, Indiana State University, Hulman Links Golf Course, the Terre Haute Country Club, and more!

Featured vendors will include Terre Haute Brewing Company, Afterburner Brewing Company, Show-Me's Bar & Grill, The SILO Eatery and Ale in Marshall, IL, Eric’s Humble Pies, J. Gumbo’s, The Saratoga, with more coming soon.

“We hope to make Sip & Savor an annual fundraiser for the THSO and create an event the community looks forward to each year. The symphony is such a gem in this city, so events like Sip & Savor help support our education programs for Vigo County students and continue allowing us to bring ‘Great Music. Close to Home!’,” noted Samantha Johnson-Helms, the symphony’s Executive Director and Principal Clarinet.

This event is proudly sponsored and supported by Labor Link, the Terre Haute Symphony League, Crane Credit Union, Fuson Automotive, and The Hometown Savings Bank.
