Bourbon Tasting Event at Hulman Center on August 25 

[Terre Haute, IN] – The Terre Haute Symphony is excited to host Bourbon & Blues at Hulman Center on Friday August 25 sponsored by Labor Link. Enjoy an evening of bourbon tastings and great music performed by the Men of Note Jazz Band, food stations catered by Sodexo, cash bar, a unique silent auction, dancing, and more. The event is 5:30-7:30pm with VIP entry at 4pm.

 Bourbon Tastings 

11 vendors with 20+ products available for tasting will be located in the wings of the Hulman Center Glass Pavilion. Each ticket holder will be given a THSO lanyard and a tasting pass upon entry. VIP ticket holders receive 12 tastings and GA ticket holders receive 10 tastings. Tasting passes will be hole-punched by volunteers at vendor tables after each tasting. 

 Food Stations 

VIPs will enjoy the following special appetizers at 4pm:

At 5:30pm, all attendees will have access to multiple food stations that include:

Cash Bar 

Two cash bars will be available for non-bourbon drinkers. Water and soft drinks will also be available. Non-alcoholic attendees receive 1 complimentary soft drink with their ticket.  

Tabled Seating 

All tickets holders will receive a table number upon arrival. Guests will be seated at round tables of 8 throughout the Hulman Center Glass Pavilion. Guests may request who they would like to sit with during ticket purchase.  

Men of Note Jazz Band & Dancing 

The Men of Note will perform 5:00-7:00pm and share a variety of jazz and swing tunes. A dance floor will be available in front of the band to enjoy. 

Silent Auction 

Between tastings and appetizers, browse the silent auction and make a bid on your favorite items. Bidding instructions will be available at the event and will take place online. Items include bourbon and wine baskets, THSO experiences, jewelry, artwork, tickets to organizations in town, college swag baskets, an iPod Home mini, food baskets, puzzle baskets, and more.

Tickets can be purchased at www.thso.org or by calling the Terre Haute Symphony office at (812) 242-8476. VIP Tickets are $75 for tasting and $50 for non-alcoholic. General Admission tickets are $55 for regular and $30 for non-alcoholic.
