IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Regarding COVID-19

The Terre Haute Symphony fully supports the efforts of public health officials to control the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We are committed to the health and safety of our patrons, musicians, staff, and the greater community. We will continue to follow all guidelines made by local, state, or federal health officials. With these instructions, please see below regarding concert announcements for the remaining 2019-2020 season.

CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENTS

APRIL 4 - Our Classical Mystery Tour concert originally scheduled for April 4th, 2020 has officially been rescheduled to August 29th. If you already have tickets for this event, please hold on to them! Purchase tickets for the August 29 event here!

APRIL 9 - Our Adventures in Music Children’s Concert is cancelled.

We are heartbroken that we have to cancel our annual Adventures in Music concert for children on April 9th. At the request of Christi Fenton from Vigo County School Corporation, we will expand our 2021 Adventures in Music program to 3 concerts to include 5th graders who missed the concert this year, 4th graders, and private and home school students! These concerts open doors for students into a world of making music, so we are very proud to continue to touch the lives of children in the Wabash Valley. Registration for the 2021 concerts will open on our website this summer.

May 2 - Our concert on May 2nd is officially cancelled. We were unable to reschedule this concert, unfortunately.

TICKET OPTIONS FOR MAY 2

Single Ticket holders will be contacted by Hulman Center and Ticket Master directly.

Season Ticket holders have two (2) options:

  1. Donate your ticket: We encourage you to donate your May 2nd ticket as a tax-deductible donation. As a nonprofit arts organization, the Terre Haute Symphony relies on the people we serve. That has never been more true than during this time of event closures as our community works together to reduce the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Your support today is vital to the fiscal health of the THSO.

  2. Request a Certificate of Credit: You may request a credit for your May 2nd ticket(s) that can be used toward the purchase of a single concert ticket or season tickets for our 2020-2021 season. We understand customers are thinking carefully about purchasing tickets for future performances. To offer increased flexibility, we can issue credit certificates through May 1, 2020. Click here to fill out a form to request a certificate of credit.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

If you are holding tickets for a cancelled event from another arts organization in Terre Haute, we ask you to consider taking a ticket credit or donating the cost of your ticket back to the arts organization. The Terre Haute arts community is about to experience a period that no arts organization can possibly plan for - canceled performances and empty houses. Your small gesture of kindness could have a profound effect on the future of the arts in Terre Haute, IN. We gratefully thank you for your consideration.
