Terre Haute Symphony Shares Annual Holiday Concert December 7
[Terre Haute, IN] – On December 7, 2024, at 7:30pm, the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Bowden, will perform their annual holiday concert, The Gift of Music, at Tilson Auditorium. Abigail Baggott, a delightful, charismatic singer, joins the THSO as they perform holiday favorites, including Leroy Anderson’s Sleigh Ride, a jazzy Charleston Christmas, O Holy Night, Little Drummer Boy, a holiday sing-along, and a surprise Hanukkah clarinet feature.
The THSO recommends attendees arrive early to the concert due to the Miracle on 7th Street Parade at 6pm on December 7. Parking will be limited in Downtown Terre Haute. Multiple activities and events are available for early arrivers:
Visit Miracle on 7th Street vendors inside Hulman Center starting at 12pm.
Enjoy Miracle on 7th Tuba Christmas at 3:30pm outside Hulman Center.
Cash bar opens at 5:00pm in the McKee Family Heritage Lounge of Tirey Hall.
Supper at the Symphony is served at 5:30 p.m. in the Heritage Ballroom of Tirey Hall. Reservations are required by December 3 at www.thso.org/supper-at-the-symphony

Supper at the Symphony
Make it a date night with a concert and Supper at the Symphony! Come to the concert early and enjoy a delectable three-course meal served in the Heritage Ballroom of Tirey Hall, right down the hall from Tilson Auditorium. The cash bar opens at 5:00pm, and dinner is served promptly at 5:30pm. Dinner reservations are $30 per person. Patrons will enjoy a salad to start and choose one entrée of either Roasted Turkey, Roasted Pork, or Vegetable Lasagna. Entrees are served with mashed potatoes with gravy, homestyle green beans, and stuffing. Pumpkin rolls with caramel sauce and spiced whipped cream will be served for dessert. Reservations can be made at www.thso.org or by calling the THSO office at (812) 242-8476. Reservations close at 12pm on Tuesday, December 3.
Concert Conversations
Join Artistic Director, Dr. David Bowden, and vocalist Abigail Baggott for an interview during Concert Conversations in the Heritage Ballroom in Tirey Hall on the campus of Indiana State University before the concert at 6:45pm. FREE to all concert ticket holders!
Concert Tickets
Patrons can purchase concert tickets by visiting www.thso.org or calling the Hulman Center at (812) 237-3737. Ticket prices for adults are $20, $50, and $65. Student and youth tickets are $6, $12, and $16. Prices do not include facility and venue fees. This concert is selling quickly, so do not wait to purchase your tickets!
ISU Student Tickets
ISU students receive FREE tickets to THSO concerts! Students can show their student ID at the Tilson Auditorium ticket window starting at 6:30pm before a concert to receive a free ticket. Only 100 tickets are available for ISU students. Students can get their tickets in advance by visiting the Hulman Center box office.
Accessible Entrance & Parking
Patrons can sign up at thso.org or call (812) 242-8476 to reserve a parking space in the Visitor Lot located at 7th and Larry Bird to take advantage of the THSO’s Accessible Parking Service that includes golf cart transportation from the lot to the elevator entrance of Tilson Auditorium.
Patrons can also be dropped off behind Tirey Hall in the alley between Fairbanks and Tilson for direct access to the elevator or enter through the ground level at the front of Tilson Auditorium via the downstairs lobby. Signage will be posted at the venue with directions to the elevator.
Parking
Patrons may park in the Indiana State University Parking garage located at 750 Cherry Street for free between 4 PM and 11 PM on the day of the concert. This parking garage is located across the street from Tilson Auditorium.
Due to Miracle on 7th Street, downtown parking will be limited. We recommend arriving early! The following streets will be closed due to Miracle on 7th Street:
Wabash Ave from 3rd to 9th Streets
Cherry Street from 9th to 7th Streets
The following streets will be closed from Ohio to Cherry: 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th
