THSO Brass Quintet to Perform Holiday Concert at Ivy Tech’s Oakley Auditorium
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 2 p.m., the Terre Haute Symphony Brass Quintet will share Seasonal Sounds at Ivy Tech Terre Haute’s Oakley Auditorium featuring your favorite tunes to kick off the holiday season. This concert is free and open to the public! The THSO Brass Quintet features Principal musicians from the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra including Jay Ellsmore (trumpet), Brian Kilp (horn), Randy Mitchell (trombone), and Glen Dimick (tuba). They will be joined by trumpet player, Connor Tipton.
In December 2023, Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra (THSO) partnered with Ivy Tech Terre Haute to bring the THSO Brass Quintet to Oakley Auditorium for a holiday-inspired concert. The event was a resounding success, also giving Ivy Tech Agriculture students the opportunity to sell poinsettias to attendees. Proceeds from the poinsettia sales went toward enriching the student experience.
This concert is proudly sponsored by Ivy Tech and the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra.
This concert is made possible in part by Arts Illiana, the Indiana Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
