THSO to perform “Dance Around the World” on November 5

Czech Dances, Hungarian Dances, Jazz & Blues, and even Highland folk dances! It’s an evening made for dance lovers and toe-tappers! On November 5, 2022, at 7:30 pm, the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra presents Dance Around the World featuring the THSO’s own Principal Pianist Tim Stephenson performing Florence Price’s Concerto in One Movement. The concert will also feature Zoltán Kodálys’ Dances of Galanta, Orawa by renowned film composer Wojciech Kilar, and a powerful performance of Dvorak’s Symphony No. 8!

THSO Launches new tasting and music fundraiser, Sip & Savor, on October 9 at Hulman Center

Taste the best of the Wabash Valley on Sunday, October 9, 12pm-5pm in the Glass Pavilion Entryway of Hulman Center during the Terre Haute Symphony’s new fundraising event, Sip & Savor! Enjoy samples from local breweries and restaurants while listening to live music from JazzHaute and the Men of Note Band. The event will also feature a silent auction with over 40 specialty items. Featured vendors will include Terre Haute Brewing Company, Afterburner Brewing Company, Show-Me's Bar & Grill, The SILO Eatery and Ale in Marshall, IL, Eric’s Humble Pies, J. Gumbo’s, The Saratoga, with more coming soon.

Tony DeSare Returns to Terre Haute for "I Love a Piano" with Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra

On September 24, 2022, triple threat singer/pianist/songwriter, Tony DeSare takes Terre Haute on a journey that celebrates timeless piano legends who have become the cornerstones of pop music like Elton John, Ray Charles, the Bee Gees, and Billy Joel! DeSare joins the Terre Haute Symphony Orchestra at 7:30pm at Tilson Auditorium for a night of piano music like none other, culminating with Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue. He’s no stranger to Terre Haute, first performing with the THSO in September 2020 during a socially distanced outdoor concert at Fairbanks Park at the height of the pandemic.
